biography

Born in 1973, Narendra Jussien received its PhD in computer science from Rennes I University in 1997 and its habilitation from Nantes University in 2003. He joined the computer science department at École des Mines de Nantes in 1998 where he teaches computer science. Constraint programming is its main research topic upon which he published several results. He headed the «constraints» group at EMN from 2001 to 2003 and is now deputy-head of the «discrete constraints» research group at LINA (Laboratoire d'Informatique de Nantes Atlantique). Narendra Jussien is the president of the French Association for Constraint Programming (AFPC).

Narendra Jussien is also the author of the PaLM system : an explanation-based constraint solver.
